Disney’s Gummi Bears was the first animated production by Walt Disney Animation Television and is loosely inspired by the gummy bear candies.
Gummi bears are anthropomorphic bears with a long and rich history and are relatively unknown to the people of the world who believe the bears are legends and fairy tales.
However, the Gummi Bears are said to be the last remnants of a once great civilization that fled the land centuries ago when humans, jealous of the Gummi Bears’ advancements and magical abilities, forced the species into exile.
Disney’s Gummi Bears follows the adventures of the Gummi-Glen Gummis, a group of Gummi Bears who live in the vast underground maze of Gummi Glen in the medieval kingdom of Dunwyn.
The newly announced Pop! Adventures of the Gummi Bears line features Pop! vinyl figures of most of the series’ main characters. As part of the Pop! Disney series, the Pop! Gummi Bears line is scheduled to release in March 2021.
