Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from The Simpsons, inspired by the “I, Carumbus” episode set in ancient Rome.

New Funko Pop! The Simpsons figures from ancient Rome.

“I, Carumbus” is the second episode of the thirty-second season of the American animated television series The Simpsons, and the 686th episode overall.

In the episode, the Simpson family visits a museum exhibit about ancient Rome, where they learn a story from the museum curator about Obeseus the Wide (played by Homer), the son of a poor peasant.

The story continues and each member of the Simpsons plays a character in ancient Rome – Obeseus (Homer), Bartigula (Bart), Lisandra (Lisa), Marjora (Marge), and Emperor Montimus (Mr. Burns).

The five characters from the story have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and will be available soon. In addition to the normal Pop! figures, a Young Obeseus figure will be released exclusively for Amazon.
