Funko has announced a new Hannibal Lecter Funko Pop! vinyl figure from the classic horror film The Silence of the Lambs.

The Silence of the Lambs is a 1991 American psychological horror film directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Ted Tally, adapted from Thomas Harris’s 1988 novel.
In the film, Jodie Foster plays Clarice Starling, a young FBI trainee who is on the hunt for a serial killer, “Buffalo Bill” (Ted Levine), who skins his female victims. To get hold of him, she seeks advice from the imprisoned Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer.
A sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, titled Hannibal, was released in 2001, followed by the prequel films Red Dragon (2002) and Hannibal Rising (2007).
In 2013, a Hannibal television series was developed by Bryan Fuller for NBC, based on characters and elements appearing in Thomas Harris’ novels Red Dragon (1981), Hannibal (1999), and Hannibal Rising (2006). The TV series aired for three seasons.
A new Hannibal Lecter Funko Pop! vinyl figure is announced by Funko, as part of the Pop! Movies series. The new Hannibal Lecter Pop! figure, equipped with fork and knife, has a release date in August 2022.
