Fans of Alice in Chains can celebrate 30 years of the band’s second album Dirt with the new upcoming AIC – Dirt Funko Pop! Album Deluxe.

Alice in Chains is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley.

Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993 and William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who had died in 2002.

Dirt is the rock band’s second studio album, released on September 29, 1992 through Columbia Records. The album spawned five singles: “Would?”, “Them Bones”, “Angry Chair”, “Rooster” and “Down in a Hole” and sold five million copies worldwide, making Dirt the band’s best-selling album to date.

The album’s cover art features a woman half buried in a cracked desert landscape. The cover was photographed by Rocky Schenck, who also created the image along with the album’s art director, Mary Maurer.

Alice In Chains’ Dirt has been given a Funko Pop! makeover and is the latest Deluxe addition to the Funko Pop! Albums series.

The Alice in Chains Dirt Funko Pop! Album Deluxe features each of the band members transformed as Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including the album’s cover art, pre-packaged in a hard premium protector case.

Funko Pop! vinyl Layne Staley, Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney and Mike Starr are ready to rock in their legendary stage outfits and are approximately 3 3/4-inches tall. The dimensions of the case are approximately 23.5”W x 12.25”H x 3.75”D.
