Funko has released a new Funko Pop! vinyl figure of Hip Hop legend Tupac Shakur, inspired by the album Loyal to the Game.
Hip Hop legend 2Pac transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl.
Tupac Amaru Shakur (born Lesane Parish Crooks, June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), also known as 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper, songwriter and actor.
He is widely regarded as one of the most influential rappers of all time and as a symbol of activism against inequality, as much of Shakur’s music is known for addressing contemporary social issues plaguing inner cities.
Tupac Shakur began recording in 1989 under the stage name MC New York and debuted in 1991 under the stage name 2Pac on Digital Underground. In the same year, his debut solo album 2Pacalypse Now was released, which sold half a million copies.
During his music career, Shakur has released four studio albums, including his Diamond-certified album All Eyez on Me (1996). After his death in 1996, six more posthumous studio albums were released, including the 2004 album Loyal to the Game.
Loyal to the Game is Shakur’s ninth studio album and fifth posthumous studio album. The album was produced by Eminem and consists of remixes of previously unreleased music recorded by Shakur before his death in 1996.
Shakur is one of the best selling music artists and has sold more than 75 million records worldwide. In 2002, he was inducted into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame, and in 2017, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in his first year of eligibility.
Funko honors the Hip Hop legend with a Pop! makeover and with the release of a new Pop! vinyl figure. The newly released Tupac Shakur Funko Pop! vinyl figure is part of the Pop! Rocks series and is inspired by the 2004 album Loyal to the Game.
