Funko Introduces a New Era of Limited Edition Pop! Collectibles
In an effort to bring back the thrill of exclusivity — and a healthy dose of FOMO — Funko has announced a tiered system for limited edition Funko Pop! Vinyl figures, complete with holographic stickers, limited piece counts, QR-code authentication, and new distribution rules.
What Is the New Funko Limited Edition System?
Funko’s new system introduces eight distinct tiers of limited edition Funko Pop! Vinyl figures, each defined by a set number of pieces produced, a fixed price, and a unique holographic sticker.
The most exclusive tiers will even include signature packaging, authentication features, and limited availability through the Funko Fan Rewards program.
The aim? To bring back rarity, exclusivity, and excitement to the Funko ecosystem — and to reward active fans and collectors.

ULTIMATE
Only 1 – 99 pieces made. These are signed and come with a special, Limited Edition POP! Protector. Available to Funko Fan Rewards members only. Rainbow holographic sticker. $100-$200
MYTHIC
Only 100 – 499 pieces made and includes a special, Limited Edition POP! Protector. Only available to Funko Fan Rewards members. Blue-purple holographic sticker. $60
GRAIL
500 – 999 pieces made and include a special, Limited Edition POP! Protector. Only available to Funko Fan Rewards members. Orange holographic sticker. $50
LEGENDARY
1000 – 2500 pieces made and include a special, Limited Edition POP! Protector. Available to Funko Fan Rewards members or at select retail partners. Pink holographic sticker. $40
ROYALTY
2501 – 3500 pieces made and includes a special, Limited Edition POP! Protector. Available to Funko Fan Rewards members or at select retail partners. Black holographic sticker. $30
ULTRA
3501 – 5000 pieces made and includes a special, Limited Edition POP! Protector. Available to Funko Fan Rewards members or at select retail partners. Moss green holographic sticker. $25

QR Code Authentication
Every Funko limited edition figure in this new system will include a QR code on its sticker. When scanned, this code will verify the product’s authenticity and confirm the official piece count — offering a layer of trust and collectibility never seen before in standard Pop! releases.
U.S. vs Europe – What You Need to Know

The first Funko limited edition Pop! figure under this new system launches on May 9, 2025. Releases will be available through the Funko Fan Rewards platform and select retail partners depending on tier level.

Access and Eligibility
To access the rarest tiers (ULTIMATE, MYTHIC, and GRAIL), you must be a member of the Funko Fan Rewards program — available to fans who actively engage with Funko through purchases and digital interactions.
Other tiers will be available via Fan Rewards and select retailers, including conventions, exclusives, and possible shared drops.
