Ratatouille is a 2007 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Ratatouille is the eighth film produced by Pixar.
The title refers to the easy-to-pronounce French dish ratatouille, which is served at the end of the film, and also references the species of the main character, a rat.
Set in Paris, the film follows a rat named Remy, who dreams of becoming a chef and tries to achieve his goal by forging an alliance with the garbage man of a Paris restaurant.
