Tom Brady is a retired American football quarterback widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NFL history.
Born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California, Brady played 22 seasons, the majority with the New England Patriots, and later with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Over his career, he won seven Super Bowl championships – six with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers – more than any other player in NFL history. Known for his leadership, intelligence and clutch performances, Brady holds numerous records, including for career passing touchdowns and passing yards.
Drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, Brady became the Patriots’ starting quarterback in 2001, leading them to their first Super Bowl win that same season. His partnership with head coach Bill Belichick became one of the most successful in sports history.
