Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) is an American media franchise created by Scott Cawthon, best known for the survival horror video game series of the same name. The first game of the series was released on August 8, 2014.
The main series consists of eleven survival horror video games that take place in locations associated with a fictional family pizza restaurant franchise called “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza”, named after its mascot, the animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear.
In most games, the player takes on the role of a night-time employee, who must utilize tools such as security cameras, lights, doors, and vents to defend himself against hostile animatronic characters that inhabit the locations. The four main animatronics of the FNaF franchise are Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is a 2021 video game and it is the ninth main installment in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series and the eleventh game overall. The game features significant differences from other installments in the franchise, with the main differences including free-roam gameplay. Free downloadable content for the game titled Ruin was released in 2022.
Characters from the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Games series.
