Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures inspired by characters from Charles Dickens’ novella A Christmas Carol.

A Christmas Carol, full title: A Christmas Carol in Prose; Being a Ghost Story of Christmas, is a novella written by Charles Dickens.
It tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the ghots of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. In the process, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.
The book was first published in London by Chapman & Hall on 19 December 1843 and was an immediate success, with the first edition selling out by Christmas Eve. By the end of 1844 thirteen editions had been released.
A Christmas Carol has never been out of print and the book has been translated into several languages. The story of A Christmas Carol has been adapted numerous times for many films, stage, opera and other media.
Dickens capitalized on the success of A Christmas Carol and wrote four other Christmas stories.
Characters from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Books series. The newly announced wave includes six new Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including three glow in the dark variants.
