Funko has announced new exclusive Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro (Bronze) Funko Pop! vinyl figures in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the popular One Piece anime series.

One Piece is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation, based on the manga of the same name created by Eiichiro Oda.
It first premiered in Japan on October 20, 1999, and has since become one of the longest-running and most popular anime series globally.
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate with the ability to stretch like rubber after consuming a mystical “Devil Fruit”. Luffy embarks on a quest to find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece, which will crown him as the Pirate King.

Characters from the anime television series One Piece have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Animation series.
Funko released the first One Piece Funko Pop! vinyl figures in 2016. The initial wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures included key characters like Monkey D. Luffy, Portgas D. Ace and Tony Tony Chopper.
These One Piece Funko Pop! vinyl figures became popular among both Funko Pop! collectors and One Piece fans, with subsequent waves including more characters from the series.
Over time, Funko expanded the One Piece Funko Pop! vinyl collection with various exclusive, limited-edition and special versions of the characters.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime series, Funko has designed a special series of ten exclusive One Piece metalic bronze Pop! Plus Funko Pop! vinyl figures. The new One Piece Funko Pop! Plus figures feature a metallic bronze finish, depicted atop a rock with the character’s name engraved into it.
The newly announced Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro (Bronze Statue) Pop! Plus Funko Pop! vinyl figures are the first two releases in the series.
