Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! Deluxe figures from the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Avatar: The Last Airbender (ATLA), also known in some regions as Avatar: The Legend of Aang, is an American animated fantasy television series produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
The series is set in an Asian-inspired fantasy world where some people can manipulate (or “bend”) the elements of water, earth, fire, and air.
The story follows Aang, a young Air Nomad who is the “Avatar” – the only person who can master all four elements and is destined to bring balance to the world.
Aang, frozen in ice for a hundred years, is found by Katara and Sokka, siblings from the Southern Water Tribe. The world has drastically changed in his absence, as the Fire Nation has waged a devastating war for dominance, nearly eradicating the Air Nomads and terrorizing other nations.
Alongside Katara, a Waterbender, Sokka, and later joined by other friends like Toph, a blind Earthbender, Aang embarks on a journey to learn to bend all four elements and stop the ruthless Fire Lord Ozai.
Throughout the series, the characters face numerous challenges, develop unique friendships, and confront complex themes such as identity, duty, loss, and redemption. Notably, Prince Zuko, the exiled son of Fire Lord Ozai, undergoes a powerful transformation from Aang’s antagonist to a trusted ally, embodying the series’ deep exploration of redemption and self-discovery.
The show has been widely praised for its compelling storytelling, layered characters, humor, cultural influences, and nuanced handling of mature themes, making it a beloved classic for audiences of all ages.
Avatar: The Last Airbender aired on Nickelodeon for three seasons, from February 2005 to July 2008. A sequel to the series called The Legend of Korra was released in 2012 and ran for four seasons through 2014.
The extended Avatar franchise includes an ongoing comics series, a prequel novel series, a live-action film, as well as a live-action remake series produced for Netflix.
