Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Gege Akutami.
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student with exceptional physical abilities who becomes entangled in the world of Jujutsu sorcery after swallowing a cursed object—one of the fingers of the powerful Cursed Spirit, Sukuna.
This act binds Sukuna’s soul to Yuji’s body, making him a target for both Cursed Spirits and Jujutsu Sorcerers.
To control Sukuna’s influence and prevent a catastrophe, Yuji joins the Tokyo Jujutsu High school under the guidance of Satoru Gojo, a powerful sorcerer.
