The world of DC collectibles is heating up as Funko officially unveils the second wave of Pop! Vinyl figures based on the highly anticipated Superman (2025) movie.

Superman (2025) is the highly anticipated reboot of the legendary DC Comics character and marks the official beginning of the new DC Universe (DCU) under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran.
This film, simply titled “Superman”, is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025, and will serve as the first film in “Chapter One: Gods and Monsters” of the revamped cinematic universe.
The film is written and directed by James Gunn, best known for his work on Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad. Gunn’s vision for Superman focuses on a younger, more emotionally complex version of Clark Kent, portrayed by David Corenswet, who takes over the role from Henry Cavill.
This version of Superman is not an origin story but follows Clark as he struggles to balance his Kryptonian legacy with his human upbringing in Smallville while working at the Daily Planet in Metropolis.
Rachel Brosnahan co-stars as Lois Lane, offering a sharp, modern take on the iconic journalist and love interest. Nicholas Hoult plays Lex Luthor, Superman’s longtime nemesis, in what’s expected to be a more intense, cerebral version of the villain.
