Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Saved by the Bell.

Saved by the Bell is an American television teen sitcom created by Sam Bobrick for NBC. The series premiered on August 20, 1989.
Aimed at children and teens, Saved by the Bell aired on Saturday mornings in the United States, later serving as the flagship series in NBC’s TNBC lineup. The show, a spinoff of the Disney Channel series Good Morning, Miss Bliss, follows a group of high school friends and their principal at the fictional Bayside High School in Los Angeles.
The series mainly focuses on light-hearted comedic situations and occasionally touches on serious social issues, such as drug use, drunk driving, homelessness, remarriage, death, women’s rights and environmental issues.
The series starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Dustin Diamond (Samuel “Screech” Powers) , Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) and Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding).
Saved by the Bell ran for four seasons, with a total of 86 episodes, with the final episode airing on May 22, 1993.
The show spawned two spin-off series: Saved by the Bell: The College Years (1993–1994), a primetime series that follows several characters through college, and Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1993–2000 ), a Saturday morning series that follows a new group of students at Bayside High School.
Saved by the Bell also spawned two TV movies, Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style in 1992 and Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas in 1994.
Characters from Saved by the Bell have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Television series. Funko released the first Saved by the Bell Funko Pop! vinyl figures in 2015.
