Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl collectibles to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Godzilla franchise.

Godzilla is a Japanese monster, or kaiju, media franchise consisting of films, television series, novels, comic books, video games, and other merchandise.
The media franchise is centered on the fictional kaiju Godzilla, a prehistoric reptilian monster awakened and powered by nuclear radiation.
The original film, Godzilla, directed and co-written by Ishirō Honda, was released in 1954. It became an influential classic of the genre. For its North American release, the film was localized in 1956 as Godzilla, King of the Monsters!
Godzilla has since become an international pop culture icon, appearing in various media: 33 Japanese films produced and distributed by Toho Co., Ltd., five American films; one produced by TriStar Pictures and four films (part of the Monsterverse franchise) by Legendary Pictures, and numerous video games, novels, comic books and television shows.
The Godzilla franchise is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the “longest continuously running film franchise”, having been in ongoing production since 1954, with several hiatuses of varying lengths. In 2024, the Godzilla franchise will celebrate its 70th anniversary.
Characters from the Godzilla franchise have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Movies series. Funko has previously released Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the Japanese Godzilla films, as well as figures from Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024).
Last year, Funko also released a wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the Japanese anime series Godzilla Singular Point, as part of the Funko Pop! Animation series.
In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Godzilla franchise, Funko has announced a new wave of Godzilla Funko Pop! vinyl figures. The new wave includes seven new Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including three exclusives, a rare chase variant and a 10 inch jumbo sized Pop! figure.
In addition, Funko announced a new Funko Pop! Movie Poster of the 1992 film Godzilla vs Mothra. The new Godzilla vs Mothra Funko Pop! Movie Poster is part of the Funko Pop! Movie Posters series.
