Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the upcoming adult animated television series Creature Commandos.

Creature Commandos is an exciting new addition to the DC Universe, blending elements of horror, action and dark humor into a unique animated television series.
Developed by James Gunn, the creative mind behind Guardians of the Galaxy and now co-CEO of DC Studios, the show is part of the revamped DCU and will be the first official release in the new “Chapter One: Gods and Monsters” saga.
Based on the classic Creature Commandos comics from the 1980s, the series focuses on a team of monstrous characters working together on dangerous, covert military missions.
In the original comics, these characters included a werewolf, vampire, and Frankenstein’s monster, all fighting for the Allies during World War II. While the core concept remains the same, the new series modernizes the team and sets them in the current timeline of the DCU.
The lineup for the TV series is expected to feature both familiar faces and new characters. Rick Flag Sr., the father of the Suicide Squad’s Rick Flag, will lead the team, which includes an eclectic mix of bizarre and fascinating creatures, such as a humanoid amphibian and a combat-ready robot. The combination of these characters promises an action-packed narrative with a balance of dark humor and horror.
