Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the action-adventure film Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a 1995 American action-adventure film based on the hit television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Directed by Bryan Spicer, the movie follows the six teenage heroes—Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, Zack, and Tommy—who transform into the Power Rangers to protect the Earth from evil forces.
The film features a new storyline separate from the TV show’s continuity, giving it a cinematic edge with higher production values, elaborate sets, and CGI effects.
The story begins when a construction crew accidentally releases Ivan Ooze, an ancient, evil sorcerer who had been imprisoned for over 6,000 years. Ivan seeks revenge against Zordon, the Power Rangers’ mentor, and quickly disables the Command Center, leaving Zordon near death and the Rangers without their powers.
With Earth in danger and their strength gone, the Rangers travel to the distant planet of Phaedos in search of the Great Power, a mystical energy source that can restore their abilities and save Zordon.
On Phaedos, the Rangers meet Dulcea, a warrior who helps them unlock new animal-based Ninjetti powers, representing strength, wisdom, and courage. The teens undergo trials to earn their new powers and return to Earth to confront Ivan Ooze, who has taken over Angel Grove and enslaved the adults by using his ooze product to control their minds.
With time running out, the Rangers engage in a climactic battle using new Zords to stop Ivan and his monstrous creations before he can destroy the planet.
The film blends martial arts action, sci-fi elements, and teen drama, staying true to the tone of the TV series while expanding the Power Rangers universe for the big screen. Although it received mixed reviews—criticized for its dialogue and effects—it was a box office success and became a nostalgic favorite for fans of the original series.
