About Dandadan
Created by Yukinobu Tatsu and first published in 2021, Dandadan follows Momo Ayase and Okarun, two high school students with clashing beliefs about the paranormal.
When their respective skepticism about ghosts and aliens gets put to the test, they find themselves thrown into a world of time-traveling spirits, extraterrestrial threats, and bizarre beings like Turbo Granny.
The first season of Dandadan premiered on October 4, 2024, and was streamed globally via Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. It featured 13 episodes and was met with praise for its high-energy animation and faithful adaptation of the manga’s chaotic tone.
The second season, produced back-to-back with the first, launched on July 3, 2025, and consists of 12 episodes airing weekly.

New Dandadan Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures
Characters from Dandadan have been transformed into Funko Pop! Vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Animation series.

- Momo Ayase: The no-nonsense heroine with psychic powers arrives with her trademark school uniform and fierce pose, ready to face any spirit or alien in her path.
- Okarun (Transformed): After a supernatural encounter, Okarun gains unique abilities and a radically different appearance. This Pop! figure captures his transformed look with wild hair and glowing eyes.
- Okarun (Chase – Human): Lucky collectors may find the chase version, which shows Okarun in his human form, glasses and all, reflecting his more timid but determined nature.
- Seiko Ayase: Momo’s eccentric and powerful grandmother makes her debut as a Pop! figure, complete with her oversized glasses, traditional outfit, and mystical presence.
- Turbo Granny: One of the series’ most bizarre and terrifying characters, Turbo Granny is rendered in all her grotesque, grinning glory, adding a horror twist to any Funko collection.
Each vinyl figure stands approximately four inches tall and comes packaged in a window display box with Dandadan-themed artwork.
