The beloved sci-fi cult classic Firefly makes its return in collectible form with a brand-new wave of Funko Pop! figures.
What’s New in Pop! Television: Firefly
Fans of the short-lived but long-celebrated series can now add the full Serenity crew to their shelves with this exciting new lineup.
This wave includes eight Firefly Funko Pop! Vinyl figures inspired by the original characters from the show.
Leading the pack is Captain Malcolm Reynolds, joined by his loyal second-in-command Zoë Washburne and her husband, pilot Hoban Washburne. Engineer Kaylee Frye and companion Inara Serra are also included, bringing the heart and charm of the series to the forefront.
Rounding out the lineup are Shepherd Book with a chase variant, and the enigmatic River Tam, whose psychic powers and backstory remain central to the Firefly lore. Each Pop! captures the spirit and personality of the crew with detailed sculpting and authentic outfits, perfect for longtime Browncoats and new fans alike.
About Firefly
Firefly is a space western drama series created by Joss Whedon. Originally aired in 2002, the show was famously short-lived, lasting just 14 episodes, but gained a massive cult following thanks to its blend of sci-fi, western aesthetics, witty dialogue, and character-driven storytelling.
Set in the year 2517, the series follows the crew of the spaceship Serenity as they navigate life on the fringes of a vast galactic civilization. From smuggling jobs and bounty hunters to mysterious government conspiracies, Firefly delivered a rich world full of tension and camaraderie.
Despite its brief run, the franchise expanded with the 2005 feature film Serenity, comics, novels, and now, a fresh wave of Funko Pop! figures that pay tribute to the enduring legacy of the series.
