Over the years, the Funko Pop! vinyl figure has grown and changed, both in terms of packaging and in the appearance of the figure itself. The Funko Pop! vinyl figure we know today is usually 4 inches in height and painted with a high level of detail.
But in addition to the standard 4 inch figure, Funko releases several different types of Funko Pop! vinyl figures. Special variants like flocked and glow in the dark Funko Pop! vinyl figures or exclusive Funko Pop! vinyl figures with special features or in different sizes.
The special or exclusive Funko Pop! vinyl figures are usually released as an extra figure in a certain series, so that collectors can collect both the original and the exclusive version. Funko Pop! exclusive figures are limited productions and only available at specific shops or retailers. The so-called Funko Pop! vinyl shop exclusives or retailer exclusives.
Large worldwide Funko Pop! vinyl resellers, such as Amazon, Entertainment Earth, Hot Topic and GameStop, have their own Funko Pop! vinyl shop exclusives, recognizable by the special sticker on the front of the box.
Exclusive Funko Pop! vinyl figures are also regularly released at conventions, including New York and San Diego Comic-Con. Funko Pop! vinyl figures released at a convention are called convention exclusives and have their own unique sticker on the box.

Albums: Funko Pop! Albums are a combination of a Funko Pop! vinyl figure, pre-packaged in a hard premium protective case. The protective case is decorated with album cover artwork and the case features a Funko Pop! vinyl figure representing the likeness of the album cover. The protective case measures approximately: 8.75”W x 8.75”H x 3.75”D (W 21.8 cm x H 22.8 cm x D 8.4 cm) and can be easily hung on the wall.
Bitty Pop!: Funko Bitty Pop! figures are a miniature version of the popular Funko Pop! vinyl figures, designed to offer a more compact and cute take on the standard figures. The smaller Funko Bitty Pop! figures maintain the same iconic oversized heads, large eyes, and distinctive Funko style, but are much smaller in size, typically standing at around 1.5 inches tall, which is a fraction of the height of a standard Funko Pop! figure (which stands around 3.75 inches).
Black and White: Black and White Funko Pop! vinyl figures are collectible figurines designed in grayscale, mimicking a vintage or classic aesthetic reminiscent of black-and-white movies, early television shows, or monochromatic art styles.
Black Light: Black Light Funko Pop! vinyl figures are collectibles designed with special fluorescent paints that glow vibrantly under black light (UV) illumination. Pop! Plus: Pop! Plus Funko Pop! vinyl figures are the same size as the traditional 4-inch Funko Pop! vinyl figures, only the Pop! Plus figures are posed with a larger prop or sculpted with another type of extended base structure, giving the figures an extra touch of detail.
Rides: Funko Pop! Rides figures feature a pop culture character paired with a vehicle, mount or other mode of transportation.
