At Funko Fair 2021, Funko announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the Japanese anime series One Piece.

One Piece is a Japanese anime television series based on the Eiichiro Oda manga series of the same name. One Piece premiered on Japanese TV in 1999, has over 1000 aired episodes and continues to this day.
The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body took on the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, called the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.
The first wave of Funko Pop! vinyl One Piece figures was released in 2016, as part of the Pop! Animation series, and features figures of the main characters Monkey D. Luffy. Tony Tony Chopper and Portgas D. Ace. A second wave was released in 2017.
The upcoming new wave of Pop! One Piece figures is scheduled for May 2021 and will feature seven new Pop! vinyl figures, including two exclusive metallic variants.
