Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from Pan Am, the iconic airline that changed the world.

Originally founded as Pan American Airways and commonly known as Pan Am, Pan American World Airways was the principal and largest international airline and unofficial overseas carrier of the United States for much of the 20th century.
It was the first airline to fly worldwide and pioneered numerous innovations of the modern airline industry, such as jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and computerized reservation systems.
During its peak between the late 1950s and early 1970s, Pan Am was world-renowned for its advanced fleet, experienced and highly trained personnel, and numerous amenities. After several attempts at financial restructuring and rebranding in the 1980s, Pan Am gradually sold its assets before going bankrupt in 1991.
Pan Am remains one of the most famous cultural icons of the 1960s, recognizable by its famous blue globe logo and naval-style crew uniforms that became a symbol of luxury during the Golden Age of Travel.
Pan Am was also known for its airline stewardesses, most of whom were young college graduates that were recruited for their physical appearance. Funko has transformed the Pan Am stewardesses into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and has released four different variants. The Pop! Pan Am figures are part of the Pop! Ad Icons series.
