Happy Days is an American sitcom television series that first aired on the ABC network from January 1974 to July 1984, featuring a total of 255 half-hour episodes spanning 11 seasons.
Happy Days was one of the most successful television series of the 1970s, taking a sweet look at life in the mid-1950s through mid-1960s in the Midwestern United States.
The series revolves around the teenage Richie Cunningham and his family: his father Howard, mother Marion and his younger sister Joanie Cunningham. But the series is best known for the role of Fonzie, a high school drop out, greaser and ladies man, who eventually becomes Richie’s best friend.
