Funko has announced a new Previews Exclusive Marvel Venom: Lethal Protector Pop! Comic Cover figure in the recently launched Pop! Comic Covers series.

Venom: Lethal Protector #1 transformed into Funko Pop!

After the success of the popular Pop! Albums series, Funko has now applied the concept to iconic comic book covers.

The Funko Pop! Comic Covers series is a combination of a hard premium protector case, a cover art inspired Pop! vinyl figure and of course artwork of the comic book cover. The end product is simply amazing and a must-have for any Pop! or comic book collector.

The protective case measures approximately: 7.00″W x 10.75″H x 3.25″D and can be easily hung on the wall.

The first release in the Pop! Comic Covers series is the most iconic comic book ever created – Action Comics #1 from 1938. Action Comics #1 is the first issue of the original run of the comic book/magazine series Action Comics, featuring Superman’s first appearance.

The Funko Pop! Comic Covers series is divided into two separate lines within the series, with their own numbering, covering both DC Comics and Marvel Comics releases. The number of releases in the new Funko Pop! series is still limited, but given the number of comic books released by both franchises, the series is likely to grow in the coming years.

The latest announced Marvel release in the Funko Pop! vinyl Comic Covers series is a Venom Funko Pop! vinyl figure, based on the cover of Venom: Lethal Protector #1 (1993). The Venom: Lethal Protector Funko Pop! Comic Cover figure is a Previews Exclusive and will be released in January 2023.

The previously announced Venom: Lethal Protector (Glow in the Dark) Funko Pop! Comic Cover figure, also a Previews Exclusive, will be released in July 2022.
