Hot Topic exclusive Funko Pop! MHA Class 1-B series.
My Hero Academia is a Japanese anime television series based on the superhero manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi.
My Hero Academia premiered on Japanese TV in 2016 and has aired a total of five seasons, with an upcoming sixth season.
The story of My Hero Academia is set in a world where currently most of the human population has gained the ability to develop superpowers called “Quirks”, which occur in children as young as four years old. It is estimated that around 80% of the world population has a Quirk.
The series focuses on Izuku Midoriya, a young man who dreams of becoming a Hero despite being bullied by his violent childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo for lacking a Quirk.
Midoriya is scouted by All Might, Japan’s greatest hero, who chooses him as his successor after recognizing his potential and helps him enroll in U.A. High School, a prestigious academy where students learn and train to become heroes.
U.A. is the #1 ranked high school for heroism and is considered the best Hero Academy in Japan. Students are divided into specific Departments and Classes (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K), so that students can decide the best way to use themselves for their likely participation in the pro-hero world.
Students of Class 1-B, a first-year class in U.A. High School, are featured in the new Funko Pop! My Hero Academia Class 1-B series. The Pop! MHA Class 1-B series is a Hot Topic Exclusive and contains a total of nine different Funko Pop! vinyl figures.
The first three students of Class 1-B transformed into Pop! vinyl figures are Neito Monoma, Itsuka Kendo and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. The fourth student to get a Funko Pop! makeover is Ibara Shiozaki.
