Funko has announced a new Previews exclusive Funko Pop! Sentinel with Wolverine (10 inch) figure as part of the Pop! Marvel X-Men collection.

The X-Men are a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, first appearing in The X-Men #1 by artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby and writer/editor Stan Lee in 1963.
Although initially canceled in 1970 due to low sales, it became one of Marvel Comics’ most recognizable and successful franchises. They have appeared in numerous books, TV shows, the 20th Century Fox X-Men movies and video games.
In the Marvel universe, mutants are humans born with a genetic trait called the X gene that grants them natural superhuman abilities. Because of their differences from the majority of humanity, mutants are subject to prejudice and discrimination, and many X-Men stories contain social commentary on bigotry and justice.
In most iterations of the team, they are led by their founder Charles “Professor X” Xavier, a powerful telepath who runs a school for mutant children out of his mansion in Westchester, New York, which secretly is also the headquarters of the X-Men.
The X-Men team lineup has varied over the years and split into several other newer teams. The original team lineup introduced Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Angel and Iceman, as well as Professor X.
Subsequent releases have featured fan favorites and frequent members Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Kitty Pryde, Jubilee, Gambit, Emma Frost, Psylocke, Havok, Dazzler, Polaris, Bishop, Forge and Banshee.
The X-Men characters have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Marvel series. The newly announed Sentinel with Wolverine (10 inch) Pop! vinyl figure is a Previews exclusive and has a February 2023 release date.
