Marvel Comics’ 1977 Spidey Super Stories #25 comic features the first and last appearance of Web-Man, Spider-Man’s villain doppelgänger created by Doctor Doom.
Doctor Doom has created a copy of Spider-Man with his Twin Machine or Twin Mirror, only with the opposite traits. Web-Man is assigned to capture Spider-Man, but due to the opposite traits, a genius Spider-Man against a dumb Web-Man, Web-Man returns to Doctor Doom empty-handed. In the end, Spider-Man destroys the mirror and Web-Man with it.
Funko has announced an exclusive Funko Pop! vinyl Web-Man figure as part of the Pop! Marvel series. The new Funko Pop! vinyl Web-Man figure is an Entertainment Earth exclusive and has a May 2023 release date.
