Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the upcoming musical fantasy film The Little Mermaid.

The Little Mermaid is an upcoming American musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall from a screenplay written by David Magee.
Co-produced by Walt Disney Pictures, DeLuca Marshall and Marc Platt Productions, it is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1989 classic animated film of the same name, which itself is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s 1837 Danish fairy tale of the same name.
The film tells the story of Ariel, a beautiful and enterprising young mermaid who loves to go on adventures. She is the youngest daughter of King Triton, but also the most contrarian.
Ariel is desperate to learn more about the world beyond the sea and when she visits the land on the surface, she falls head over heels for the handsome Prince Eric, with dire consequences.
The Little Mermaid is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on May 26, 2023, in RealD 3D, IMAX, Dolby Cinema and 4DX formats, as well as in conventional theaters.
Characters from The Little Mermaid live-action film have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Disney series. The newly announced wave includes six new Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including a Diamond Collection variant of Ariel as a Target exclusive.
