Funko has announced new exclusive Gremlins – Gizmo and Stripe (Black Light) Funko Pop! vinyl figures as part of the Funko Pop! Movies series.

Gremlins is a 1984 American black comedy horror film directed by Joe Dante, written by Chris Columbus and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.
The story follows a young man named Billy who receives a small furry creature, a Chinese mogwai, from his father for Christmas. Billy is delighted with his new furry pet and calls the mogwai Gizmo.
Gizo as a pet comes with three important house rules: do not expose the mogwai to light, especially sunlight, which will kill it; do not let it come in contact with water; and above all, never feed it after midnight.
Unsurprisingly, the house rules go wrong and Gizo accidentally comes into contact with water, which then spawns other creatures from his back, a more troublesome species led by the aggressive Stripe, named for the tuft of fur on his head.
Gremlins was released theatrically in the United States on June 8, 1984 by Warner Bros. The classic film was followed by a sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), with a third film, Gremlins 3: Secrets of the Mogwai, currently in development.
Gizmo and the Gremlins have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Movies series. The newly announced Gizmo and Stripe (Black Light) Funko Pop! vinyl figures are both Entertainment Earth exclusives and have a release date of June 2023.
