Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the Japanese anime series One Piece.
One Piece characters transformed into Funko Pop! figures
One Piece is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation, based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga series of the same name. Since its premiere on Japanese TV in October 1999, 1,078 episodes have been aired over twenty seasons.
The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body took on the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, called the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.
In addition to the twenty seasons of the anime series, the One Piece franchise has spawned thirteen television specials, fifteen animated films, and a new One Piece live-action television series, which premiered on Netflix on August 31, 2023.
Characters from One Piece have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Animation series. The newly announced wave includes eight new One Piece Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including two Funko Shop Exclusives.
