Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the supernatural horror film The Black Phone.
The Grabber transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures.
The Black Phone is a 2021 American supernatural horror film directed by Scott Derrickson and written by Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, who both produced with Jason Blum.
It is an adaptation of the 2004 short story of the same name by Joe Hill, and the film stars Mason Thames, Jeremy Davies, Madeleine McGraw, James Ransone and Ethan Hawke.
In the film, kidnapped teenager Finney (Thames) uses a mysterious telephone to communicate with the previous victims of his deranged captor (Hawke), nicknamed “The Grabber”.
The film premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 25, 2021, and was theatrically released by Universal Pictures on June 24, 2022. The film grossed $161 million and received positive reviews.
The Grabber has been given a Funko Pop! makeover and has been transformed into various Funko Pop! vinyl figures, which are part of the Pop! Movies series. Funko has announced four different The Grabber Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including a rare chase variant and a Funko Shop Exclusive.
