Funko has announced an exclusive wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the upcoming Marvel Studios animated television series X-Men ’97.

X-Men ’97 is an upcoming American animated television series created by Beau DeMayo for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team X-Men.
It serves as a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992 – 1997), and the plot picks up where the original series left off, showing the X-Men facing dangerous new challenges after losing their leader, Professor X.
X-Men ’97 is produced by Marvel Studios Animation, with DeMayo serving as head writer. It is the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since they regained the film and television rights to the characters from 20th Century Fox.
X-Men ’97 will premiere on Disney+ on March 20, 2024 and the first season will consist of ten episodes. A second season is in development.
Characters from X-Men ’97 have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Marvel series. Last year, Funko released the first X-Men ’97 Funko Pop! vinyl figures, featuring four exclusive Marvel Pop! figures of Cyclops, Gambit, Bishop and Magneto.
During Target Funko Fridays last October, Funko announced two exclusive Funko Pop! Jubilee and Magneto (8-Bit) figures as part of the Funko Pop! X-Men ’97 collection. The 8-Bit Funko Pop! vinyl figures are designed in a special “8-bit” pixel form, which gives the Pop! figures a “80s video game look”.
The newly announced wave includes five new exclusive X-Men ’97 Funko Pop! 8-Bit figures, including Mojo, Roberto, Spiral and Abscissa.
