Funko has released a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures inspired by characters from R.L. Stine’s children’s horror book series Goosebumps.

The Goosebumps book series, created by American author R.L. Stine, is one of the most successful and recognizable children’s horror fiction series.
Launched in 1992, the series quickly became a cultural phenomenon, captivating young readers with its spooky tales and surprising twists.
The original Goosebumps series consists of 62 books, each telling a standalone story with different characters and terrifying scenarios, ranging from haunted houses to monstrous creatures and eerie supernatural events.
Known for its humor mixed with mild scares, the books are aimed at children aged 8-12 and are notable for their cliffhanger chapter endings that keep readers on edge.
Beyond the original series, the franchise expanded with numerous spin-off series, including Goosebumps Series 2000, Give Yourself Goosebumps, Goosebumps HorrorLand and Goosebumps Most Wanted. These later series introduced recurring characters and deeper world-building, keeping the franchise fresh for new generations.
The success of the books led to several adaptations across different media. A popular television series based on Goosebumps aired from 1995 to 1998, featuring live-action adaptations of many of the book’s most iconic stories. The series gained a significant following and introduced a broader audience to R.L. Stine’s works.
More recently, two feature films (Goosebumps in 2015 and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween in 2018), starring Jack Black as a fictionalized version of R.L. Stine, brought the franchise to the big screen. The films mixed various Goosebumps characters and creatures, creating family-friendly adventure comedies with a nostalgic twist.
In October 2023, a new television series titled Goosebumps was released on Disney+ and Hulu. The series was renewed for a second season, set to premiere in January 2025.
The Goosebumps brand has further expanded into merchandise, video games, and comic books, solidifying its place in pop culture. Despite the passage of time, the series continues to hold appeal for both new readers and long-time fans.

The newly announced wave, available first at Barnes & Noble, includes four new R.L. Stine Goosebumps Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including a Barnes & Noble Exclusive Black Light Funko Pop! vinyl figure of The Haunted Mask (Carly Beth), the eleventh book in the original Goosebumps series.
In addition to the four Funko Pop! vinyl figures, Funko has announced a Funko Pop! Book Art Cover of The Werewolf of Fever Swamp, the fourteenth book in the original Goosebumps series.
The new Funko Pop! Book Art Cover features a Werewolf Funko Pop! vinyl figure against the backdrop of The Werewolf of Fever Swamp book cover. The Funko Pop! figure is pre-packaged in a hard premium protective case. The case measures approximately 8.15”W x 7.75”H x 3.25”D (W 20.7 cm x H 19.7 cm x D 8.3 cm).
