Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the popular Japanese anime television series Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Kazuki Takahashi.
The series centers around a young boy named Yugi Mutou, who solves an ancient Egyptian puzzle called the Millennium Puzzle. Upon solving it, Yugi awakens an alter ego, a mysterious and powerful spirit known as the Pharaoh. Together, they face a series of challenges, most notably in the form of a card game called Duel Monsters.
The card game, which plays a central role throughout the series, involves summoning monsters, casting spells, and setting traps to defeat opponents. As Yugi and his friends, including Joey Wheeler, Téa Gardner, and Tristan Taylor, battle through various duels, they uncover dark secrets linked to ancient Egyptian mythology and the Millennium Items, powerful artifacts like Yugi’s puzzle.
The series explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the struggle between light and darkness. Over time, the show expanded into several spin-off series, including Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, and more, each introducing new characters and evolving the dueling mechanics.
The original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime became incredibly popular worldwide, influencing the rise of a real-life trading card game based on Duel Monsters and establishing a lasting legacy in the world of anime and gaming.
Characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Animation series.
