Funko has announced two new exclusive Turtles of Grayskull (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Masters of the Universe mashup) Funko Pop! vinyl figures inspired by Mattel’s Turtles of Grayskull toy line.

Turtles of Grayskull is a 2024 crossover initiative that merges the universes of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Masters of the Universe (MOTU).
This collaboration encompasses both a toyline and a comic series, offering fans a unique blend of characters and storylines.
In early 2024, Mattel introduced the “Turtles of Grayskull” action figure series. These 5.5-inch scale figures feature 16 points of articulation, combining elements from both franchises.
For instance, the line includes figures like Leonardo and Donatello outfitted with Eternian-style battle gear, and MOTU characters such as Man-At-Arms reimagined with TMNT-inspired armor. Each figure comes with interchangeable parts, allowing for customizable play experiences.
The toyline also includes mini-comics that provide backstory and context for these unique character mashups.
Complementing the toyline, Dark Horse Comics launched a four-issue comic book miniseries titled “Masters of the Universe/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles of Grayskull”. The first issue was released on September 25, 2024, with subsequent issues following in November 2024 and early 2025.
The series is scripted by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Freddie E. Williams II. The narrative begins with the Turtles arriving on Eternia, where they discover that their adversaries, Shredder and Krang, have allied with Skeletor to launch an assault on Castle Grayskull. In response, Man-at-Arms organizes a defense with Eternia’s champions, and the Turtles, along with their Neutrino allies, join the effort.
The Turtles of Grayskull project has been well-received for its innovative fusion of two iconic franchises, offering both nostalgic appeal and fresh storytelling for fans of all ages.

Masters of the Universe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are well-known franchises in the world of Funko Pop! vinyl. A large number of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from both franchises have been released in the various Funko Pop! series.
Characters from Turtles of Grayskull have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Television series.
Last year, Funko announced two exclusive Funko Pop! vinyl figures of Leonardo and Shredder as the first two releases of the Turtles of Grayskull Funko Pop! vinyl collection.
As part of Target Con 2025, Funko Pop! collectors can now look forward to the release of two new exclusive Turtles of Grayskull Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including He-Man and Skeletor.
