Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the teen comedy film Mean Girls.

Mean Girls is a 2004 American teen comedy film directed by Mark Waters and written by Tina Fey, based on the book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman.
The movie follows Cady Heron, a 16-year-old girl who moves from Africa to the American suburbs and enters high school for the first time after being homeschooled.
Cady quickly befriends two outcasts (Janis Ian and Damian Leigh) and is introduced to the complex social hierarchy of high school, dominated by a popular clique known as ‘The Plastics’, led by Regina George.
Initially, Cady befriends the group to learn about their secrets and get revenge on Regina, but she soon finds herself absorbed into their world, becoming just as mean and manipulative as they are.
Mean Girls premiered at the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles on April 19, 2004, and was released in the United States on April 30, by Paramount Pictures. A made-for-television sequel, Mean Girls 2, premiered on ABC Family in January 2011.
Mean Girls also spawned several adaptations, including a stage musical, which premiered on Broadway in March 2018, with a film adaptation released in January 2024.
