The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure comedy flim co-produced and directed by Richard Donner, based on a story by executive producer Steven Spielberg.
The film tells the story of the Goonies, a group of kids living in the “Goon Docks” neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, who try to save their homes from foreclosure.
In their attempt, they discover an ancient treasure map that takes them on an adventure to recover the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. During the adventure, the Goonies are chased by a family of criminals who want the treasure for themselves.
To celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary, Funko has released a new wave of Pop! vinyl figures from The Goonies. The first Pop! vinyl figures of the film date from 2014 and the new wave Pop! figures have clearly been upgraded in appearance.
As part of the Pop! Movies series, six new Pop! vinyl figures from The Goonies will be released, including two exclusive variants.
