Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the animated fantasy adventure film The Secret of NIMH.

The Secret of NIMH is a 1982 American animated fantasy adventure film directed by Don Bluth, based on Robert C. O’Brien’s children’s novel Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.
The story follows Mrs. Brisby, a widowed field mouse, as she embarks on a dangerous journey to save her family. Her son, Timothy, falls gravely ill, and their home in the farmer’s field is in peril due to an impending plowing season.
Seeking help, Mrs. Brisby encounters a secretive society of highly intelligent rats who escaped from a laboratory called NIMH, where they were subjected to experiments that enhanced their intelligence. Among them is Nicodemus, their wise leader, and Justin, a courageous guard.
The rats agree to aid Mrs. Brisby by moving her home to safety, but their efforts are complicated by internal conflict, particularly with the power-hungry rat Jenner.
The film explores themes of bravery, sacrifice, and the ethical implications of scientific experimentation. Known for its rich animation, emotional depth, and darker tone compared to typical children’s films of its time, The Secret of NIMH has become a beloved classic.
