Last year, Funko launched a new Pop! Disney series to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney Archives.
The Walt Disney Archives is the company archive of The Walt Disney Company. It was founded in 1970 by Dave Smith to collect and preserve historical materials related to Walt Disney and The Walt Disney company.
The first wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures was dedicated to the most famous mouse in the world: Mickey Mouse. Five different Mickey Mouse Pop! figures have been released in recognizable roles that Mickey has played over the years, including Plane Crazy Mickey, Sorcerer Mickey and Beanstalk Mickey.
In addition to the regular releases, a special edition Mickey Mouse 5 pack was released exclusively for Amazon.
The new upcoming wave of Funko Pop! Walt Disney Archives figures is all about Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse’s longtime lover. Just like for Mickey Mouse, five different Pop! vinyl figures of Minnie Mouse will be released. The release date is set for March 2022.
Enthusiasts can already head to Amazon in January for the exclusive release of the Minnie Mouse 5 pack.
