The Legend of Korra (also known as Avatar: The Legend of Korra) is an American animated television series created for Nickelodeon. The series is currently also available on Netflix.
The Legend of Korra is a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender and the series ran for 52 episodes, separated into four seasons (“books”), from April, 2012, to December, 2014. It has continued as a comic book series.
Like its predecessor, the series is set in a fictional universe where certain people can manipulate or “bend” one of the four elements: water, earth, fire or air. Only one person, the “Avatar”, can bend all four elements and is responsible for maintaining balance in the world.
The series follows Avatar Korra, the successor and reincarnation of Aang from the previous series, as she faces political and spiritual unrest in a modernizing world.
Korra and other characters from the series have been transformed into Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Animation series. The newly released Pop! Korra Glow in the Dark figure is a Box Warehouse exclusive and can be ordered from Amazon.
