The 2022 MLB Baseball regular season will not start on time due to the ongoing MLB lockout, after the MLB and MLB Players’ Association failed to reach a deal. It is the first self-imposed lockout in 27 years.
For now, Opening Day (March 31) and the first two series of the 2022 MLB regular season have been canceled.
