Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures featuring Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and Friends characters.

Sanrio is a Japanese company that designs, licenses, and manufactures character merchandise, including stationery, school supplies, gifts and accessories, that target the kawaii (“cute”) segment of Japanese popular culture.
Sanrio’s best-known character is Hello Kitty, a little cartoon girl cat and one of the most successful marketing brands in the world. Together with other Sanrio characters, including My Melody and Cinnamoroll, they form Hello Kitty and Friends.
Sanrio’s characters are transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Sanrio series. The newly announced wave includes five new colorful Funko Pop! vinyl figures.
