Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the Japanese anime television series My Hero Academia.

My Hero Academia (MHA) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Bones, based on the superhero manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi.
My Hero Academia premiered on Japanese TV in 2016 and has aired a total of six seasons.
The series is set in a fictional world where over 80% of the population possesses a superpower, commonly referred to as a “Quirk”. The advent of these skills has led to not only pro-heroes, but also the threat of villains.
The series focuses on Izuku Midoriya, a young man who dreams of becoming a Hero despite being bullied by his violent childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo for lacking a Quirk.
Midoriya is scouted by All Might, Japan’s greatest hero, who chooses him as his successor after recognizing his potential and helps him enroll in U.A. High School, a prestigious academy where students learn and train to become superheroes.
The League of Villains is a group of villains, founded by the infamous All For One – All Might’s arch-nemesis, and led by his apprentice Tomura Shigaraki, who act as the main antagonists of the series.
Characters from My Hero Academia have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Animation series. The newly announced wave is inspired by season 5 of the MHA television series and features a large number of new My Hero Academia Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including several Glow in the Dark Funko Pop! exclusives.
