Funko has announced a new wave of Dragon Ball Z (Ginyu Force) Funko Pop! vinyl figures as part of the Funko Pop! Dragon Ball Z collection.

Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation and the anime series is part of the Dragon Ball media franchise.
It is the sequel to the 1986 Dragon Ball anime series and adapts the latter 325 chapters of the original Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama.
The anime television series aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 1989 to January 1996 and was later dubbed for broadcast in at least 81 countries around the world.
Dragon Ball Z continues Goku’s adventures into his adult life as he and his companions defend Earth from villains, including aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell), and magical creatures (Majin Buu). At the same time, the story parallels the life of his son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta.
Dragon Ball Z has been followed by two sequel series: Dragon Ball GT (1996 – 1997) and Dragon Ball Super (2015 – 2018). From 2009 to 2015, a revised version of Dragon Ball Z aired in Japan under the title Dragon Ball Kai.
The anime’s popularity has spawned numerous media and merchandise that have come to represent the majority of content within the Dragon Ball franchise.
Characters from the Dragon Ball media franchise have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Pop! Animation series. Basically Funko uses three different lines for the Funko Pop! vinyl figures of the Dragon Ball franchise, divided into a Pop! Dragon Ball collection, a Pop! Dragon Ball Z collection and a Pop! Dragon Ball Super collection.
The newly announced wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures features the five members of the The Ginyu Force. The Ginyu Force is an elite team of mercenaries within Frieza’s Army and act as the secondary antagonists of the Namek Saga of Dragon Ball Z. They consist of five powerful warriors: Recoome, Burter, Jeice, Guldo and Captain Ginyu, the leader.
In addition to the five normal Funko Pop! vinyl figures, Funko has announced exclusive Glow in the Dark variants of the five Dragon Ball Z Ginyu Force members as Entertainment Earth Exclusives.
