Funko has announced an exclusive Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Funko Pop! Glow in the Dark Comic Cover figure, based on the cover of the first issue of the 1986 four-issue comic book miniseries starring Batman.

The Funko Pop! vinyl Comic Covers series is a combination of a Funko Pop! vinyl figure, based on the comic book cover, pre-packaged in a hard premium protective case, which is decorated with artwork from the comic book cover.
The protective case measures approximately: 7.00″W x 10.75″H x 3.25″D (W 17.8cm x H 27.3cm x D 8.3cm) and can be easily hung on the wall. The finished product looks amazing and is a must-have for any Funko Pop! and comic book collector.
The Funko Pop! Comic Covers series is divided into separate lines within the series, with their own numbering, covering both DC Comics and Marvel Comics releases.

The Dark Knight Returns (alternatively titled Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) is a 1986 four-issue comic book miniseries starring Batman, written by Frank Miller and published by DC Comics.
It tells an alternate story of Bruce Wayne, who returns from retirement at the age of 55 to fight crime while facing opposition from the Gotham City Police Department and the U.S. government.
The story also features the return of classic enemies Two-Face and the Joker, and culminates in a showdown with Superman, who is now a pawn of the government.
Various elements of the series have since been incorporated into depictions of Batman in other media, while a direct animated adaptation of the story, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, was released as a two-part film in 2012 and 2013.
