Funko has announced two new Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the science fiction film Star Trek: First Contact.

Star Trek: First Contact is a 1996 American science fiction film directed by Jonathan Frakes in his feature film debut.
It is the eighth movie of the Star Trek franchise, and the second starring the cast of the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation.
The story follows Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his crew as they chase the Borg, a cybernetic alien race, back in time to the 21st century.
The Borg’s plan is to prevent humanity’s “first contact” with an alien species, an event that leads to the formation of the peaceful United Federation of Planets. To do this, the Borg attempt to assimilate Earth by altering its past, specifically around the pivotal event of the first warp flight made by Dr. Zefram Cochrane (James Cromwell).
Picard, who has a personal history with the Borg, is pushed to confront both his trauma and his desire for revenge as he battles to save Earth’s future. Meanwhile, Commander Riker, Counselor Troi (Marina Sirtis), and others on the ground work to ensure Cochrane’s warp flight happens.
The film blends elements of action, suspense, and character-driven drama, exploring themes of resilience, redemption, and humanity’s drive for exploration.
