Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual pop culture convention San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), will unfortunately not take place this year. The popular summer convention was originally scheduled to run between July 22 and July 26, 2020.
SDCC 2020 Pop! vinyl exclusives @ Funko Virtual Con 3.0
For safety and health reasons, the event was officially canceled in April of this year. A complete explanation of the cancellation and further information can be found on the official Comic-Con International website.
Instead of attending a physical event, but still keeping the convention spirit alive, Funko is bringing SDCC 2020 virtually to your home this summer with Funko Virtual Con 3.0, Funko’s third virtual con. Funko Virtual Con 3.0 will take place from July 19 to July 25, 2020.
Just like Emerald City Comic Con and WonderCon earlier this year, all Funko and Pop! vinyl offers will take place online. The San Diego Comic-Con 2020 convention exclusives are offered directly online during the virtual con by both Funko and the shared retailers.
