Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Speedy Gonzales and Elmer Fudd are some animated legends that appear in the Funko Pop! vinyl Looney Tunes set.
The Funko Pop! Looney Tunes set is part of the Pop! Animation series. The first line of the set was released in 2016, featuring Pop! vinyl figures from Duck Dodgers.
Duck Dodgers is an animated television series, based on the 1953 classic short “Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century”. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation from 2003 to 2005, the series aired on Cartoon Network and starred Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers.
The released Pop! vinyl Duck Dodgers line includes Duck Dodgers and Space Cadet along with Marvin the Martian and his beloved pet, K-9. The line also includes metallic chase versions of both Duck Dodgers and Space Cadet and a number of San Diego Comic-Con convention exclusives.
The second line of the Funko Pop! Looney Tunes set was released in 2017, featuring a Pop! vinyl figure of Michigan J. Frog, the official mascot of The WB Television Network from its inception in 1995 until 2005.
Other Looney Tunes characters transformed into Pop! vinyl figures include Daffy Duck, Pete Puma, Sylvester & Tweety, Bugs Bunny and Taz (the Tasmanian Devil).
In 2017, Funko also released Pop! vinyl figures from the animated movie Space Jam, starring Michael Jordan and a host of Looney Tunes characters. The Pop! vinyl figures appear in the Pop! Looney Tunes set, but are released under the Funko Pop! Movies series.
To celebrate Bugs Bunny’s 80th anniversary, new Funko Pop! vinyl figures of the famous rabbit will be released in September this year.
