Starship Troopers is a 1997 American military science fiction action film, based on Robert A. Heinlein’s 1959 novel of the same name.
The story follows a young soldier named Johnny Rico and his exploits in the Mobile Infantry, a futuristic military unit, when Earth declares war on the Arachnids.
Johnny Rico kicks off the Funko Pop! Starship Troopers line with an exclusive Pop! vinyl figure, released at San Diego Comic Con 2019. Tanker Bug, a large Arachnid used against Mobile Infantry, is the second release exclusive to Entertainment Earth.
